As things stand right now, when I rotate my torso, my legs retain their current orientation. Is there any particular reason why the same isn't true of turning my legs? I shouldn't have to worry about my torso's orientation unless I hit the hard stop.

If you don't fool with the mouse your torso does turn with the legs.

Yes, that's the problem. I don't want my torso to change orientation when I turn my legs unless my torso hits the hard rotation stop.

Could you imagine the ability of a Streak mechs or even LRM mechs to keep a lock on and rain missiles.

Chilling thought, a circle of death with 2 or three commandos.

Yeah, you'd think that futuristic technology would be able to keep the torso motionless when turning, but it would take most of the piloting challenge from the game.
