I don't think I'd enjoy a co-op PvE if the mode was simply fighting wave after wave of Mechs...but if there was a co-op campaign, I'd be all for that!

Yes me too, co-op campaign ! Well, I think, too expensive and too long for his realisation. Many gamers want this... It's a dream ?...

Some of the PvE would have to be Waves of combat cause that is how battles are fought sometimes. I would be kinda interested in a 300 style final stand. You fight wave after wave of enemy till you fall, So many waves is a partial victory, a few more a Marginal victory, all the way up to a stunning success.
Allow some minor repairs and rearm between matches with dwindling supplies as the fight goes on.

That's true...but I guess I'd rather that be part of a co-op campaign scenario rather than a co-op mode. Kind of like the finale's in Left 4 Dead...you are fighting wave after wave of zombies but only because you're waiting for the choppah...

Co-op PVP is repetitive. We want a co-op PVE mode !

PVE is even more repetitive, AI will never change its tactics, it will never change its mech or loadout to combat what the enemy has changed, it will never decide to do a massive flank left for the sake of it, it will never hide in the trees and power down all mechs until the enemy is right on top of them
if you are that desperate for a PVE experience with giant robots

why would you want to fight an enemy that has no ability to think ?
what i would like to see is support units within a normal PVP match
we now have turrets
cant be that much of a stretch to add in tanks
these tanks could be a player consumable or spawned by the primary base or both
akin to a MOBA game where waves of useless minions or creeps move from one side to another
we could have infantry, tanks, aerospace fighters and later elementals
i would have AI run on assault, conquest and the incoming attack/defend
but i think skirmish should stay mech on mech (unless tank support is a consumable)
there is no reason to have PVE
i support PVP+E

You don't understand. It's just for the choice. Lot of people like a PVE style and his environment. The PVP it's just an repetitive killing to killing. I kill him, I kill you, you kill me, with the same maps again and again... And.... Nothing. With co-op PVE we are the choice to change a new tactics versus AI. It's just for that. PVE with AI enemies work in lot of games, why not in MWO ???? 'Cause, you don't like that ? And you don't like PVE ? Don't play this mode, simply.Don't Worry, this mode don't kill PVP mode...
