Legendary was out of the question for me as I could not afford it, nor did I think it was a good deal.

I went for the Legendary. Not for the Premium subscription, but rather because of what you're actually buying. What I believe this is actually buying is a solid chance for a new, fun, online BattleTech/MechWarrior game. The important thing isn't what you get, rather what and who you're supporting.

The key is that this is a Free-To-Play game. If you don't want to support the Developers and the Companies involved, Don't. The business model most likely assumes a 15-30% paying base, probably less if you break it down to a subscribing base.

I really don't care much if I get into the closed beta or not. Sure, I would like to, but August 7th is not that far off, and I have a job and a new wife. Even if I didn't purchase a Founder's pack, my feelings would be the same. I want BattleTech to stick around. I spent countless hours on a ship in the Pacific ocean between San Diego, CA and the Suez playing the tabletop, or painting and modifying the miniatures.

Mainly i wanted to echo the seniments of others while i never got into the Tabletop game, i have been an Avid fan and player of all the PC titles since MW2. I really really want this game to do well. I like oh so many of you have been waiting for years for this game, hoping to see this franchise live on. Well today marks the time to put up or shut up, so i did my little part to make sure it stays around as long as possible ( i do understand that it is not realistic for everybody to but a founders package)
Heres to hoping and trusting that the devs make this the best game possible, (I HAVE FAITHHHHHHH)

I bought the Elite, with the Jenner.

I simply couldn't justify buying the Legendary package, though it was tempting.

I can't wait to choose the Mechs that most suit my play style, that is why only elite - if you don't like the chassis that are put up for founder's then get the one you are most comfortable with and use the extra cash for previum payments once live.
