So i have a very high end rig with some hardcore sexy parts. But i wanted a htpc that could run mwo @ 1080p medium settings on my 55" in the living room. So i got a cheap mobo, an i5-2320 that i already had from a buddies pc, 1 tb barracuda drive, 8 gb 1333mhz nameless ram thats been going strong since it came out, and an xfx 7750 hd 1 gb gddr5. I am happy with the build and it runs mwo @1080p avg 35 fps with a min of 20ish and max of 60ish. i am fine with that. But i was really impressed with this little gpu. It is a single slot and doesnt even require a 6 pin. It comes at stock clocks of 800 core and 1125 ram. Using msi afterburner i got it to the max afterburner allows you to reach which is 900 core and 1250 ram. Then i opened sapphire trixx and pushed it as hard as i could. Mind you this card cannot be overvolted unless you use pcie lane which is touchy. So without any overvolting i got it to 975 core and 1500 mhz ram. That is what i used to run my dual 7950s at in my define r4 (to keep em cool and quiet. they could reach 1175 core and 1700 ram), I have had a phenomenal time with this card even though it is so low end. The performance gain was about 5 fps which is nice but it was just fun to play with.
