I mean the round skull of the Atlas does look good, and so I hoped they would also go for the more ferocious skull of the Banshee with its sharp eyetoothes.

Everytime I look at those, it reminds me of Garrus from Mass Effect. That explains while you won't see it, it will be in the Mechlab all day being callibrated.

Hehe yeah this! My Banshee should look evil and dark, with overbite fangs and a canine/feline/demon skulls feel!

Not like a weary fat underbite bulldog.

The Banshee's face really need's less "ball-gagged gimp mask" and more "jaw-less skull" and "Gladiator mask" with maybe a touch of "tooth-like collar bone protrusions".

Here we can see the face and fang structure of the mechs head a tad better and it started to grow an me immidiately. PGI certainly got lucky with their mech artists.

The head structure is ok, but I'm disappointed by the laser location. The "third eye" forehead mount from the old RP molds created a much better visual... the mouth position really looks like it's making like a circus seal.

I'm sure the Phraken pattern on the C-Bill Variants will get you the skull you were looking for.

additionally, the head energy hardpoint is mounted on the forehead of all the normal variants. Only the hero version has the energy hardpoint in the mouth. I thought it would suit the personality of this ride. Toss a flamer in there for a hauptman style cigar.

so yes you'll have your third eye laser for regular banshees, the mouth gag is for comical effect on just the hero.

The other Banshee's will have a forehead laser. Only the Hero variant has the mouth "cigar" laser.
