So I picked these up from a local flee market here for pretty cheap actually. They are a Book game published by nova in 87.

Most of them are in very good condition (look to have never been played). only the shadowhawk and the middle rifleman are missing their stat/pilot card... the rifleman and warhammer at the top are unopened.

Sarna has some information about them: http://www.sarna.net...ombat_Book_Game

Afaik, they can be considered rare, but are probably only worth something for collectors.

I found these at a yard sale, too many years ago to want to remember. I have all of them except for the Rifleman. I haven't ever "played" them, I just keep them with my old Battletech collection.

I've played these...they are a lot of fun. Or at least I thought they were way back then. Sadly those were the only ones they ever made. I always loved playing the Griffin, even if it did overheat.

Griffin and Shadowhawk are rare, and net good returns on eBay. Complete sets can go over $250.
I own All but Those two myself.
I'm hoping somebody has worked out a way to generate new book. These are Fun to play on long car rides and while waiting for the plane at the airport.
Working on digitizing mine for tablet play.
