Well, I thought I'd add two more screenshots with big weight discrepancies.

645 v 930 - 285 ton difference, in favor of the lighter team.
Spoiler

Had others, but these two had the largest difference between the teams.

It is a strange battletech inversion that I would bet on 6 Shadow Hawks hands down over five atlases.

Well, my corp did once win a 12-man running all Locusts.

It as also Crimson Strait Assault.

We capped their base.

That was my sole victory in a Locust, with a grand total of 5 matches played. What a worthless mech.

Hey now, I'm all for drop limits but the locust is just fine for the tonnage. I can pretty consistently hit 300+ damage per round in it. Not that it is easy or the powerhouse that is a Jenner or Firestarter, but they are nearly 2x the tonnage.

The loss to the team with two disconnects is the most disheartening.

You are wrong man, not the first time that i win against a full assault-heavy drop with just a light drop. Yesterday for example in 12 man we did it.

Yeah, now imagine if your 12 didn't have VOIP/battle coms. Now how would that all work out, oh and its the first time you've played together.

Tonnage doesn't matter, though. It miiiiiiight have made a difference if they'd gone with drop limits (Although no one would go for Atlas + Locust over Highlander+ Spider), but with 3-3-3-3 they're still crap. Any other light mech would wipe the floor with the Locust.

Conquest: Out cap them.

Assault: Base cap them.

Skirmish: You out fight them, and if you can't, well I told you this mode was for folks with no concept of tactics etc.
