DX 11 should be added this month that should take processing power off the CPU and onto the GPU makeing it possibly possible to get better FPS on higher settings and makeing it look better overall. as for version of cryengine, IIRC it's Cryengine 3, at least that's what the intro said IIRC before it changed for UI 2.0.

I hope something improves as my CPU usage is never at 100% (not even on the few cores used during MWO gameplay) nor are my GPUs ever utilized above 80% and yet my FPS still drops occasionally into the 40s.

Oddly enough, I'm finding roughly the same thing to happen regardless of resolution.

I'd also like it if the GPU utilization wouldn't be as high in the MechLab as it is when playing the game. That's needless GPU strain and energy consumption, which equals heat and there are only so many "heat sinks" that I can put on my PC.

I have good rig i5 3570k 4,5Ghz and 7970 anyway DX9 have better performance than DX11 and no graphic differencies,

At this moment, before patching to dx11 they have the uncanny ability to overload your particular cores....or at least ram jam, way too much info into core #1 to mess things up horribly, even @ 4.5ghz, this could be done by MWO's sheer mass......fatties move over, cause bertha just got eclipsed.... DX 11 should help this problem that everyone faces in MWO, no matter the CPU or clock speed at this point.....traffic jam on thread #1 is inevitable....."Mr. Anderson."Posted ImagePosted Image
