No, verybad is wrong on that point - the Bushwacker showed up in the BattleTech cartoon (which ran in September through December of 1994), and then showed up in the Somerset Strikers sourcebook (published in April of 1995; source), and then showed up on the cover of TRO 3058 (which was published in September of 1995; source)... while MechWarrior 3 was released well after all of those (May of 1999; source).

My money would be on the grasshopper, if pgi does release a heavy in April, I'm fairly sure Russ said that they'd be doing something different for April/May though when he was on one of the NGNG podcasts.

There won't be a new mech in April - it will be a hero of an existing chassis.

As for the Black Knight, MWO can't support this mech because of DHS 1.4 and Ghost Heat. It would just shutdown and kill itself.

The Vindicator has been confirmed, but it's not dropping in April. Probably means we're getting it in May.

I'd be surprised to see a Jenner hero... there are 3 unique Jenners already (Oxide hero, Founders and Sarah's)

Either the Raven or a Spider I think. Preferably the Spider for me, bring on more 30 tonners.

Jenner, Commando and Firestarter already have heroes. Locust doesn't but I'd be surprised to see a Phoenix hero so soon.

Would like to see a new light chassis soon too, even though we just recently got the Firestarter it would be nice to even the chassis out a little more as we approach the release of the launch module.

I'm not sure if I'm reading your comment wrong, but based upon Russ' tweet that I quoted, it's pretty definite there will be a new hero version of an existing chassis. Highly unlikely a new chassis at all.

Not really. It is pretty close to the Dragon, just a little taller and a lot less "belly". Also quite similar to the jägermech, just slightly taller but less bottom-heavy and slimmer shoulders.

Did he actually say there wasn't a new chassis. it just seems like he confirmed a hero mech. IDK why those would be mutually exclusive. There hasn't been a month without a new mech(exclusing phoenix) since flea.
