First UI2.0 and now DX11.
You KNEW the current DX11 implementation is not optimised and is buggy. Why the hell would you release it into the main client? To meet a deadline? What deadline?
If you needed the beta test, do another public test in the test client.
You keep breaking stuff with every patch, what's the point of doing this? Yes, people were complaining about where UI2.0 and DX11 is. But you just made even more people angry by releasing things half baked.
Stop it. Just stop it. I'm half expecting the next patch to completely break the game

Y'know, about two-thirds of the forum-active community, and a good portion of the folks in-game have been complaining, moaning, and groaning for PGI to get things out on-time. Getting things out on-time means a lack of testing for existing features, as well as new ones. Now that PGI is showing why they can't release things on time with a small crew working the game, people want to complain, moan, and groan about incomplete feature sets. (shakes head)
Y'know, PGI and IGP, when I signed up on October 30th, I told you it was a mistake to run these forums, that you should just build and run the game, allow people to register for it, but don't run forums. Do you remember me telling you that? Now, you're in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation; I told you, and you ignored me.

They also don't have every machine in the universe in their office to test on!

I understand not knowing about a few bugs dealing with hardware they might not have .On the other hand NOT fixing known bugs isn't right. There were bugs in the ui2 that couldn't have taken more than half hour to fix. Simple things not like having the cbill/mc update when you spend money.

but but but then they cant hit any deadlines.
its our choice, receive alpha quality products or get them 1-2 years after promised.

I have had no problems with the game since the new year with both UI 2.0 and now the dx11 update. What it looks like to me is that people are over stretching there hardware capabilities and not heeding any of the warnings that the "small" pgi group has put together(you will find in the patch notes for dx11 pgi clearly saying that dx11 msaa is a hardware hog). With every major update pgi has kept players in the loop with known bugs and issues. If your machine can't run it that high then don't even try.
I am tired of hearing people complain about what they don't understand or even spend the time to troubleshoot problems in an intelligent way (that means simply google error messages and search the forums for known bugs and possible work-arounds , even adjust you graphics card's properties to compensate for things like the lack of sli support in a game (EVERY HEARD OF SINGLE GPU SLI RENDERING). A dx11 update is HUGE and almost guaranteed to have some bugs. Dx11 is also intended for high end pcs with modern technologies that allow it to take advantage of the expanded api (we are talking gtx 6 series or the amd equivalent at the least for maxed out dx11 capabilities). Also, if you don't even know what an api is then you should keep your feed back to only experiences/facts that you can see and come across in game. For example I have noticed that with the release dx11 there are some water effects that have some grid lines still showing. For you computer virgins out there, That is what is known as a bug. A small, usually human, error that comes up in big releases such as this.
Other than that the release seems pretty stable to me (come on try to change my mind I have run this on more hardware than you could even imagine both dx9 and 11, from state-of-the-art gaming desktops crammed with 2-way sli gtx titans to an old dell dual core laptop and everything in between both amd and intel IT IS MY JOB TO FIND COMPATIBILITY (I like to use cry engine programs for my customer benchmarks because they allow me to see the limitations of the hardware across the board in graphics and processor power)). If you experience problems or crashes try turning your graphics settings down. For those of you with overclocked systems turn the OCs off then gradually increase the settings until you have found that good experience you were looking for when you bought your hardware.
So I will say bravo to the staff at pgi. For pulling together a great release that will pave the way for many more features to come (for those of you that just don't get it yet mechwarrior online was intended to be a next gen game and the best step toward achieving that is releasing a build that allows it to expand on the growing features that dx11 can handle). The balance between old and new that you are trying to achieve is beginning to pay off so stick with it. Any true computer enthusiast will understand the gauntlet you have faced in releasing a game that works on every system. Don't listen to critics. At first Scarface was a box office flop and a production nightmare, look at where they are now.

Yeah...
Bravo PGI for improving my performance from 35-55 FPS on DX9 Medium-High settings with HD 7770 to 15-25 FPS on DX9 Low settings with R9 270x.
