Not sure where this goes:
Dual monitor support seems to be very poor. My screen is blacking out (my second screen) in 1920 x1080 and sometimes only 1/2 my screen. Nvidia 560 ti latest drivers i7 3770 3.4 ghz win7 64 bit. Other times both screens when I start the game are black until I alt tab out.
And really? Not a single improvement to the UI? With so many features missing?

What kind of frames are you getting with dx11 and a single monitor? I would imagine that the game would tax that gpu too much. I don't own one so I can't really say for sure though. And you didn't really expect much more than a new mech right? You should know how these guys operate by now silly!

I've made it a habit of disabling the second screen before playing MWO. The performance hit is just too noticeable. But I'm on a AMD/ATI chip.
Also very disappointed UI-wise, that there was only a performance fix from which basically only Sean Lang profits. There was an opportunity to fix a few very simple things that would have improved usability considerably.

Most of the DX11 are NOT the fault of PGI!
It's more that CE3 was originaly suporting DX9 only and partialy rewritten to support DX11 afterwards.
CE3 developer are still working on "full" DX11 support... it needs time.
Here is the same I've already reported to PGI:
- Win Aero don't like CE3 running in DX11 mode.
a. Sometimes you get a message from Aero about memory problems.
b. Dual monitors won't work ... the second gets and stays black.
Solution: disable Aero (designs) in the properties of the MWO shortcut. Alt+Tab after loading Mechlab if your second monitor is displaced.
- AA settings are to hungry for my system and there is no performance difference between TXAA and MSAA.
We need some more tweaking options in the future (2x,4x,8x). Hint: PGI wrote in the patchnotes: TXAA won't work a.t.m.
- Wihin the same settings I use to have less FPS avarage then in DX9 mode...
There is for sure a lot of code that would need to be rewritten with DX11 calls to get more performance out of the engine.
Here you see that the CE3 DX11 upgrade is just a decoration. -.-
PGI always told "it's not that magic thing you believe".
My conclusion: USE DX9 until DX11 is playable for you (just check from patch to patch!)

Yes, I am going back to dx9 there is no reason I can see to run dx11 with mwo. Another huge aste of time for PGI . With so many missing feature Inuit 2 how can they waste so much time not fixing/adding to the epic fail they called ui2 pre alpha release.. Yeah rhetorical .. I am left wanting yet again.

I too have the dual monitor issue.... and many more since this patch. Only with DX11. Perhaps the "BETA" tag ought to go back on the game so new players aren't confused by the bugs that they won't see in most games.
I am not a fan of having to completely reconfigure my whole rig just to play this game at reduced FPS.
