Spleen, have you considered a swap to a treb 3c? It is MUCH faster than the others

Yes but i'm struggling in the C-bill department at the moment. My tactics don't earn me a steady income of C-bills.
My tactics are just so nutty.

I'm like a coffein addicted squirrel with a rabid streak. Unpredictable yes....but doesn't have much common sense when it comes to choice of tactics.

Those run way too hot for me.

Not a problem. When a mech is too hot, you can remove Ferro/Endo (get back 14 slots) and downgrade the engine, then add more heatsinks. 2xERLL+3xML, this time with XL300 and 45% cooling efficiency.

Shadowhawks and Griffins are both good.

My favorite right now is the Griffin 1N, XL300, 2 PPCs, 3 SSRM 2s, love jump brawling!

Not bad - but you need to watch out for other fast mediums that can stick to you within 90m. (that'd be my strategy vs it)

Indeed, I used to have a SPL to complement the streaks for those pesky folks who get too close, but I traded it for more ammo because I found myself using streaks alot.

In anycase, I'll remember your name :P

Biggest problem with the trebushit is its....big..... really big, like oh my god big. Which is tragic really, as it IS a very cool looking mech but like the quickdraw its as big as a highlander (ish) with substantially less armor means that in the pinpoint high alpha game that is MWO being fast and massive is not much different than being slow and massive: your not that hard to hit in all the right spots.

I used to use ppcs on my BJ-1 and fire around corners, with one ppc set to either mouse button so I could fire them independently allowing me to get shots off even around team mates that would otherwise be too dangerious/heat wasteful. However the game has changed alot sense then, so I can't really say what would be a good idea. (As blackjacks have a very hard time shielding their sides, xl engines are especially iffy on them unless you take FULL advantage of the arms high possitioning)

Right now im working through griffins and for the most part having a hell of a good time even though the 1S and 1N don't even have any non-standard upgrades yet (SHS = hot hot hot hot) with the exception of the engine (My favorite XL340 gets around ALOT) Im a bit torn between what I want to go for in the long run, streaks are where its at with most griffins and its just a question of how many streaks I want and how many lasers I want IE 4M/2E, 3M/3E or 2M/4E with the less streaks I have making me less effective against lighter opponents but more effective against larger opponents.
