Was mentioned earlier.

Motion Blur remains active regardless of Video settings.

Post AA remains active regardless of Video settings.

Brightness & Gamma sliders do not function.

Drops in FPS when entering a new area as Props and textures load, precache or LOD's aren't functioning properly.

.cfg files contain the lines which would normally disable or enable these features, but do not seem to be active or used by the engine during render, settings within the configs are being ignored by the game.

This is likely the largest source of FPS drops thus far with the patch.

So far, any change I make in game, or in .cfg files has no impact.

Just would like to confirm at least that the Brightness and Gamma sliders are nonfunctional when DX11 is enabled - they move around, but change nothing. Not really tech-savvy enough to confirm or deny the PostAA or .cfg file issues

you need to run repair tool/reset install and clear shaders/cache folder

have, no dice, reverting back and forth between dx9-dx11 doesn't fix anything, deleting the shaders folder to be rewritten doesn't fix anything.

email support@mwomercs.com then.

also, make sure your video card settings are all using ingame settings and not overriding anything.

This thread isn't about just me, its about whats wrong and what isn't working in the video settings since the last patch for alot of people.

I've tried deleting the shader folder after any video card settings changes, I've tried the repair tool, I've tried various Videocard drivers and settings, I've tried a complete reinstall of MWO and all its files, I've tried every common and logical solution.

None of it had any impact on the ghosting and video errors that popped up with the latest patch.

I'm not going to spend another week, or even another minute going through support or debating with forum Heroes about a problem that I have no control over from my end.

This is whats happening, and these are the problems I and many others are facing through no fault of our own.

Video settings for Motion Blur, Anti-aliasing, Gamma/Brightness, and likely Vsync, are not functioning, or are being overridden regardless of Ingame settings, or config lines.

Probably a typo or mismatch in shader compiling, don't really know, but thats where I'd look first.

Motion blur is definitely out of whack, I followed all he steps and downloaded over a gig of pak files as asked by pgi, ran repair tool, deleted user.cfg etc etc....still the same.

Just have so many issues with fps some games i go into i am 10-15 fps and all on dx9.
