Anyhow...... Horrid art and model design aside, it would appear one saving grace of the oversized beast, is the ability to make a pretty good Zombie, with its massive armor, huge arms and head/CT weapons, all giving it a durability lacking in the Atlas (IMO).

So here are a few tentative builds I will be starting from on the 18th
BNC-3E Dearg Due

BNC-3S Bánánach

BNC-3M Dullahan

Watchugot?

Please correct me if i'm wrong (I don't brawl much), but isn't the point of a Zombie build to maximise the fighting capacity of the mech's core? i.e. max engine for heat sink capacity (at a minimum, though the extra speed should be useful too) and max core hard points? something more like this maybe:

BNC 3S, STD 345, LPL, MPL, AC20, 5x SL, +7x DHS

Technically speaking, All of my Banshees are Zombies >_> The only way to stop it from shooting at you is to remove the CT or cockpit, lol.

A zombie build means that even if its lost both side torsos, it can still fight;

this 3S has a large and medium laser in the CT and head, so even if it loses its main weapons in the side torsos, it can still fight.

In my brief time with Banshees, I find the one thing they absolutely need above all else is speed. Which means large engine. Which means XL if you want some decent firepower. Therefore, I don't think the Banshee is a good zombie. That said, the 3S with an LPL in the CT and an ML in the head with the biggest STD engine that will fit would probably be the best Banshee zombie.

Yeah, that's the general idea.

I'd drop a ton of ammo from that, remove half a ton of leg armor, and then change the MPL and SLs to 6 x ML. Way better range overall, and more firepower if you need it. Heat efficiency looks worse, but you don't *have* to fire all of the ML. Fire 4 of them and you're getting the same firepower and heat (essentially) as before, but with better range.
