As it seems many people got a broken gamma and or brightness slider now. There is an easy workaround though, as you can set brightness and gamma in the nvidia control panel in the desktop color section. It's actualy quite convienent, as you can toggle it on or off and switch like this between default and last value used without messing with any sliders.
