Something along these lines would be my pick as well.

I don't know, AC/2s already run so hot, I wouldn't want to deal with even a little additional heat per shot. Plus, isn't ghost heat kind of cumulative? It won't ever stop adding up until you get over .5 seconds between shots, which can't happen with the AC/2 refire rate... or at least that was what I thought. I could be wrong though.

AC/2 cycle rate is 0.52 seconds for precisely that reason. There's no cumulative Ghost Heat if you group fire 4 x AC/2 repeatedly.

4 x AC/2 is 4.04 heat, which includes the 0.04 Ghost Heat. Or 8.08 heat per second(-ish). So yeah, it runs a little hot, but it's not because of Ghost Heat.

Your gimping yourself by running four for no reason. Why not 3 ac2 + ac5 or 2 ac2 + 2ac5?

1) weight
2) AC/2 is higher dps than AC/5, and any time you're using even 1 AC/2 you're creating a dps build, not an alpha strike build.
3) having to carry multiple types of ammo makes it harder to carry the right amount

You can make an argument for 2 x UAC/5 and 2 x AC/2, but that's a huge weight difference and you start having to deal with jamming.

Yep also 4x Ac/2 it's quite manageable with 12-13 DHS in a Jager so a Banshee should be able to cool faster and be a bit more effcicient.

The Bad thing on the other hand it's the exposure and the Massive Heat after a while, making it very undesirable to be paired with more energy weapons to bring a quite decent Dmg, putting aside the size and how slow the Mech is for a firing support purpouse like that.

Ah, I must have missed that they fixed that recycle rate. Last I heard it was still "working as intended".
