So ever since the newest patch installed, the game will not work for me.

I've deleted the shaders folder, and run the MWO repair tool.
I've also done a clean install of the latest nvidia drivers.

Here is what i see:

I can log into the UI, i can select my mech, i can choose a game mode.

It then appears to be loading the map, except it never gets further than the splash screen. Eventually the screen goes dark, and if i wait long enough it will kick me back out to the UI screen.

At this point it says my mech is in a game. Eventually it will allow me to select the mech, and launch a new game, but the same problem persists.

So yea... I can no longer play this game.

Guess i'll find a new game to play, at least i never wasted any RL money on this game.

You've reported this to Support, yes? And worked with whatever they suggested to try to get it working?

If you have, good. You'll need to be patient if they cannot replicate the problem.

If you haven't, you need to. Helping to fix your problem could help them fix others, and vice versa.

Update DirectX drivers, and everything else in the system. Especially motherboard drivers - they can play odd tricks when outdated. If you haven't already of course ...

Same problem now happens to me once I followed support's instructions after the patch dropped my FPS to the 5-10 range permenantly. So I'm out till they find a way to fix it or I get a new computer someday.

I have a similar problem to this. After the map loads the game crashes after a few seconds.

I run the game on a Nvidia GTX 560 Ti with 8GB RAM and a Quadcore CPU.
Performance wise it shouldn't be a problem,

Don't want this to turn into CTD Warrior.

have yo tried deleting your systemoveride.cfg file. this has helped others. you can do this manually or use the mwo repair tool and select it in the options prior to hitting the run button.

Also,if you have an Nvidia card make sure you are running release drivers, not betas.

I ran into this problem all of a sudden and left a trail of DC games behind me.

Fix (for me): switch to DX9 mode in graphics settings and restart game.

Mine wont even get into mechlab from launcher, just kicks me out onto desktop without any error messages. Fresh installed several times, not going to waste any of my data allowance on downloading this again. If its not sorted soon I'm going to cut my losses and go to Hawken

that fix was meant for the OP, your problem sounds more like an administrator access problem
