I have no idea about Crysis, I just work on my macs. This card seem to have some oomph?
My issue is, I can get a copy of win 7 and hope or I can build a machine. One way I'm out around $200 for win 7, the other...$800-$1100. for something decent. Am I right?
I may just stick with MWTactics. I have browsers that will run that.

That card should be fine. The 6970 is definately a powerful piece of hardware, and even the mobility version ought to be decent enough. Also, why would windows cost you $200? I see it for $100 on newegg, as long as you don't feel the need for the Pro-Premium Exclusive Cool Ranch Extreme edition.

On the other hand, you could always resort to more underhanded methods of acquiring Windows. More....cost-effective methods. Methods I would certainly not explain or endorse. No sir. Not me.

I'll check new egg, Thanks, I'm going to try bootcamp first. If that doesn't work, I'll build a machine. I WILL play this game. lol
