So, Maybe I'm tired of seeing Timberwolf and Catapult threads... SO, I decided to test my mettle and make a Lego Hussar.

Hussar is a 30 ton Star League Scout mech with a 360 Degree turret.

Maybe I've been listening to, too much Maze of the Blade from Soul Calibur II ;)

the Red Pips are supposed to be the Cameras for the Turret, the White pips near the leg are supposed to be the Flood Lights.

Let me know what you think. I think it needs to be a bit smaller, because it's almost equal size with my Digital Lego Sabaku Kaze.

BY THE WAY...
Lego Digital Designer is FREE WARE to use and download
so is
GIMP 2
Don't buy Adobe Photo shop unless you absolutely have to.

If enough people like I might post my Argus XD

I'm a huge fan of Lego and LDD.

You want a TIP? For the 'mech in Lego, don't made too much brick built!

It's too much massive, you should make some SNOT and some SNIR construction for your mech, and you can reduce the size a lot.

And if you build it, it will fall directly because the legs are too much behind.

When i'm home, i will send you some LDD screenshot of my own construction. I made some smaller things, but there is different building methods.

Two examples, i find it on the internet :

Behemot :

Too much Brick Built, but it's a big mech, it's cool! =)

Very good SNOT technic for the Torso!

I like what you're saying to a certain extent. Also, thank you for your advice.
But, I do not understand what SNOT and SNIR construction is. Sorry. If you could tell me the Acronym I would be happy to try it. From what I understand it is using the Flat Lego pieces to make it smaller.

Also, I apologize I should have been more clear. But, this design piece I made was strictly, for Lego Designer I do not have intention of making real models. I will be using these to Make Screen shot Manga Later.

Also, When I designed these pieces I made the cockpit first, because I wanted to have a Lego Man inside the Cockpit, and then the size of the cockpit would always mess it up.

Thanks for the Tip!

Oh, and that Behemoth is so Manly :D

SNOT is Stud Not On Top.
SNIR is Studs Not In a Row.
If you've seen any of my MOCS I've been working on/finished on here you'd know what I was talking about.

The side panels are SNOT, where the MGs are and laser hang from. If you'd like I could show you some in-depth images to show how I did this.

Ah, so SNOT and SNIR are basically design codexes to make your creations look more professional?

In a way they do make it look "more professional" well because they are. SNOT and STIR allow you to build in ways you could never do without them simply making more complex builds. If you haven't give it a try it make be "bad" but you have to start somewhere to get somewhere.

you know what would be cool, on April fools they should make all MWO mechs appear as Lego version! ....maybe by then we'll be able to use Timuroslav's Hussar. :P

thing is, he is building it according to the design, which does have the legs too far back. But If you move them ,it's not really a Hussar anymore.

Agreed, but when you want to create your LDD creation in real pieces of Lego, most of the time you have this sort of problem. So if i tell him this it's just because i'm pretty sure that this Lego 'mech can't stand in his legs in real life. It is VERY disappointing when you made hours to design a Lego mech on LDD and after that, when you build it with all your love in real life, he is just fall on the ground and brick itself in pieces ='(
