why do you allways change some simple values in gameplay, add a new mech and call it patch?

we don´t need more mechs
we don´t need more things making the game uninteresting
e,g,

skirmish mode:
the last one from enemy team is hidding and downpowered, you´ve to search him and/or wait to win

turrets in assault mode:
same situation, if you have badly damaged mechs in your team you have to wait to win, or get killed by turrets trying to not waste the time and capture enemy base
some maps like river city or forest colony are too small for 24 mechs and with turrets you ´ve fewer room

ui 2.0: optically nice, but full of bugs unusual informations and very frustraiting to clicking here and there just to see what reactor you´ve mounted in your mech, very scarring for newbies

what we need is:

reworked maps without stucking at every edge, trucks, pipes or small stones or have been teleported serveral times few meters back, without stucking in the wall or get hit standing cover behind a buildings, without get mystically decreased your jumpjets power if your toe scratchs something.

more bigger maps for 24 mechs

closer droppoints on bigger maps, it takes about 5 min to regroup, ie atlas on terra therma

better collision detection without jumping arround another mechs

better hitboxes, it sucks if you see ppc shot flying 50 meters above your head and you still get hit propably in your leg

reworked ui, clearly, simple, without or less pictures of componnents (best example: list of engines, two sides full of the same picture) and usual information (like mounted componnents and modules)

assault mode without turrets, let us decide which mode we want to play

i hope the new patch is better, i´ve paid some good money to have fun with this game and not to be frustrated

I like turrets  involves making new strategies for Assault Mode... Skirmish... you can't avoid the k/d stat-wh0res out there... sorry. Hitboxes are being worked on... or at least were recently... no recent developments there. UI2.0 is a little too much to navigate at first (which can be a turn-off to new players), but once you start getting familiar with it, it becomes much easier to navigate. Refining some of the Match Modes could help, but all in all it looks like this is where the Devs want things setup for now... CW may change things significantly. And... I've dropped $400 into this and there's still a level of frustration involved with MWO... but what makes me enjoy the game is my team, and the Community (the one's trying to enjoy the game and giving feedback [like above post]).

Useless patch? If you check any patch note for the last year you will understand that it is absolutely standard approach of game development for PGI. Probably because PGI has couple of coders left and the rest are design artists and managers in their 50 employees staff, who knows.
You will get used to it

Useless patches?? Have you read the forums at all? First skirmish mode: This was asked for by the community for a long time because everyone hated base cappers "ruining" the fight. Second turrets in Aslt mode: Again, its an answer to base cappers. While you can base cap, you have be extremely careful about it because it can kill you. It allows more time for friendlies to get back to base to prevent the cap and thereby adding to the fighting and strategy i.e., making the game more fun. Third, as to your "needs" list: They are working on maps right now and we are expecting a jungle map in the near future, the drop points were moved apart on bigger maps so that combat could start quicker (again, because everyone asked for it), collision was removed in closed beta because too many people were "picking on" little mechs and the mechanics were wrong (A jenner could knock over an atlas). And lastly as to the rest of your requests, if you bothered to read below the summary at the top and read the entire patch notes to the bottom, you would see that they do fix content, bugs, hit reg (although it still is buggy against a lot of mechs) and a lot of the stuff that you say is needed. So based on the fact that you have only posted 8 times, you don't have a founder's tag or a phoenix tag, I am going to assume you are new around here. My suggestion to you would be to read the forums and notice what the majority of people have been and are asking for, because THAT is what is eventually going to end up in a patch in some way.

Doesn't take much to check the forum profile of someone to determine their "age" on the forums... not sure if that reflects the actual age of their account with MWO. But... for example, my opinion should be as equal in weight to the newest player (free or paying) in MWO. We all have a venue to form suggestions (good or bad) and ultimately the Devs will weigh in on what they can observe/moderate to adjust for the game... but they can't do that without feedback from the community.

So you want larger maps, but you also want the spawns closer together? Why bother? (although we certainly are due for another map by now)
