I call shinanigans, but if you believe that who am I to argue.

Yeah the progress bar was sub 50% when it was ninja'd on to the page.

But either way you really think that bar has ANY bearing on actual purchases. Its just a Placebo Chart to make some people feel like they might miss out if they don't help the % go up. ;) :ph34r:

Personally if I had stable income, I'd get me at least a partial package. Don't think PGI's done enough or earned enough to get me to say "zomg gimme the full 240 dollar package!" But nothing says I couldn't upgrade the package when I'm more impressed.

But, gotta have that stable income first. ;)

See if you know someone willing to trade housework or something for it?

That is how I am getting mine (up to the Adder/Puma pack so far)
Gonna be cleaning my sister's house all summer - and helping my homeschooled kid brother through his schoolwork, but it's not like I have a lot else to do with my time :ph34r:

Unsteady work. Kind of a big difference. Need that money for living.

Or have lawns to mow.

I'm living in south-central Alaska, and while it is warmer here than most of the state - I spent Thorsday (I think?) shoveling my brother's driveway. :ph34r:
Good 8 inches of snow that day!

I certainly hope so.

I went the full $240, and I don't want my rewards to be limited just because the rest of you stingy slackers didn't ante up :ph34r:

Lemme know if that damn coffee cup I kept asking for -- now being given out as a prize for buying packages -- has the queue-able on "interact with object" key press drink animation I requested!

Been asking to get one since the Cataphract 3D stock was a trial mech back in late 2012/early 2013.

No, that's not what I said, what I said is if two side have Equal Tech and the side with lesser numbers can still win, and in some cases destroy their opponent, just imagine the side now with VASTLY superior tech.

A two mech 'advantage' is meaningless if the weapons you're up against are that much better and the Mech's you're facing are designed to carry more of them. You're fooling yourself if you think this game won't turn into ClanMech Online, after everybody gets sick and tired of being steamrolled every match by using the inferior tech.

uh... hense why i said...

good so there's absolutely no excuse why we shouldn't have 10vs12 because as you just said it won't break the game. i can handle clan nerfs if we have stars instead of lances.

nerfs and lances just kills the clan experience dead, you'll be in slightly different IS configs nothing more. the devs could actually change this if they introduced a 3rd economy, clan honour if you use a clan mech you gain honour instead of c-bills. c-bills only means you'll be grinding for twice as long for the equivelent class mech as opposed to the IS and for what? equal 1v1? why would you waste double time for something simillar to what you already have? so we need honour points to level up the grind as well if the tech is equal to IS tech. then as you did mention 2 mechs down is not so much a disadvantage {though many disagree and relish screenshots to brag wins with two DC's on their team} so why not have 2 less mechs for claners in general let alone helping balance for "opness".

oh and you assume clans aren't being nerfed via;

heatsink limits, {base amount no freeing up tonnage and slots via taking off heatsinks}
engine limits
stagger and durations changes to weapons
heat values
extra ghost heat
to name but a few

clans are already nerfed back to the stone age and are facing fully minmax mech tree tweaked IS mechs, NOTHING like the TT situations which has brought an scare campaign where it's not necessary. we sould follow lore and be in stars and the list of awkward to balance nerfs needn't be so harsh. i'm not saying it shouldn't happen but why throw out stuff that supports your own IP and carryout even more tediously difficult balancing nerfs? because it's the bassackwards pgi way.
