Want all my friends that play other games with me to follow me into mechwarrior when they notice on steamt that I am in game. Have been able to add mechwarrioronline.exe to the non steam games in my steam client.
however when I run it from steam it only shows for a split second.
I am guessing this is because mechwarrior online swaps between three or so different .exe programs as it runs.

Which one do I add to get it to permanently show me in game when I am playing mechwarrior?

There are entire communities out there on steam who have no idea this game exists! Word would spread like wildfire through steam if this is possible. I have many friends who play war of the roses for instance that is between studios at the moment that would play this in the mean time if they could see me playing it enough.

I am looking forward to vehicles and clans and missions and other content for this game. I do not want it to die through lack of exposure because of it's niche client.

Don't worry, the game won't die.

However, for me I just added the game normally, and it shows a message to my friends when I launch the game saying that I am playing the game. Don't know how long that lasts.

Launching Steam as administrator will fix that.

nope. Refuses to run directly because it thinks it has to run the patcher first.

khaze you are a genius. Running steam as administrator worked.
