woke up thought I'd run a game before my day starts and this

restart the game, same thing......wth, beginning to think this is just too much to deal with




clicking tabs, nothing changes, that same fogged out background

Either run the repair tool, or select dx9. Common bug.

Or, you can enable motion blur, or enable msaa - those will fix it too.

For Dx11, if you are using a user.cfg, see if you got this line and remove it:
q_ShaderPostProcess = 4
