Recently patched and noticed support for dx11... I enabled dx11, restarted the client and I can no longer see the background or the mechs in the mech bay. I can see the UI elements, mechs in the list and even the social tab and settings, but the screen is black except for the UI which appears to work fine. The home screen is also blacked out, I can't see any information except the UI allows navigation as if nothing was wrong. I reset the game to dx9 and it works again... if running a game with sli disabled constitutes working... but at least we got some new sales with the patch... thanks a million. Sure hope I stop torturing myself with this game, well at least I'm done spending money on it thats for sure... Good luck fixing this and any other bugs you plan to deal with, but don't hold your breath thinking people are gonna stick around. Things just keep getting worse by the patch. Wonder who'll still be around to watch this train wreck...

Guess I'll check back in a week or two to see how much more old and busted this game can be with people being paid to "improve" it...

PS: Feel free to sell this title to the 'National Socialist Party' over at EA at anytime. At least it would have been released with some appearance of being in working order and even if we had to buy a copy and pay for updates we wouldn't have some jank @$$ sale every other week.

Try the MWO Repair Tool. See if that helps any.

You wouldn't happen to have a
e_StreamCgfPoolSize = x
in your user.cfg, would you? Where "x" was greater then 1024?

If you use a user.cfg file, remove
q_ShaderPostProcess = 4
or your DX11 will become very strange, including the black mechlab and other missing textures/effects.
