I've read multiple posts about "missing stuff" and the mechlab. There are issues with it, but I'll be clear on what's happening and what's actually broken.

Pick any mech you have in your inventory. Make sure it has an engine equipped (AND SAVED) before you start the test.

Take note of the engine you have equipped on the mech (visit the Center Torso section to make sure). Also take note of the # of engines that you have in stock (specifically the one equipped on your mech.

Now, use the "Strip Mech" function of the mechlab. Revisit the mechlab and in the Center Torso engine section. Notice that engine you had equipped was not "added" to the inventory.

Once you hit the "Checkout" button, the engine is "correctly" put into the inventory as it is "refreshed" from the server. You may have to relogin into the game if it isn't updated properly.

Your items are not "missing" from the inventory, but the "strip mech" function does not update the client's projected inventory to the correct values giving the perception that something is horribly missing.

This bug is also affecting "armor" as people are having to "rebuy" armor that they already own. Think of the "strip mech" feature as holding stuff in "escrow" until the Checkout button is executed. That is how the "strip mech" function works as of this time.

I hope this is clear for everyone to understand.
