Can you Convert MC to Cbills? Thanks to anyone that can help.

Yes, but not directly. You can buy some of the better value Champions on sale or similar items, then sell the parts you don't want for c-bills.
In general though, you are better off buying Premium time for the bonus xp/cbills or a Hero mech and running that to grind cbills.

Hero mechs increase your Cbill income by 30%. Champion mechs provide a 10% XP bonus.

Hero Mechs give a permanent 30% c-bill bonus. Champion mechs have an XP bonus instead.

The choice between Hero Mech or Premium time depends on your style.
I like the hero mechs myself. While you do have to run the same mech, there is not a ticking clock counting down. I would only recommend premium time when you want both an xp & cbill boost. For example right after a package sale to ramp your new mechs up fast.

If you're looking for an inexpensive hero to grind C-Bills, both the Oxide (Jenner) and Ember (Firestarter) are excellent C-bill grinders. The Oxide with 4 streaks can do massive damage (though with no pinpoint accuracy, few kills), and the Ember with 4 ML / 4 MGs can net you a ton of damage and Component Destruction bonuses.

It might also help to know that the Premium Bonus (50% c-bills) and the Hero Bonus (30% c-bills) stack, so if you have premium time and are piloting a hero mech', then you get 80% more c-bills than normal!

Keep in mind Hero mechs go on sale, so you can get them for 30-50% off if you're patient.
Other ways to convert MC to CBills include using Arty/Air strikes at 15 MC each and reaping the rewards of a well placed shot. But honestly, premium time is probably a better use of your MC.
On a CB/drop, usually premium time works better because it's not mech restricted and at 50% per drop, it's better than a hero mech for cheaper. That said, a good hero mech doesn't go away, so in the long term (it could be several months), the Hero mech could be worth it.
That said, the bonuses stack. So you can do both and reep huge bonuses.
