We had Solaris and Dial-up! Most battles consisted of Assaults marching towards each other! I personally used the Banshee and the Stalker in my Solaris days before my mother told me not to play it anymore.

She, eventually, got me Mechwarrior 2 for our old Windows 98. Those were the days...
