I searched for some time for others who were having the same issue... but ever since the patch I can not type during combat? Only when dead, and only when on the summary review screen, not while watching others.
Anyone know a fix to this? Also since the patch it takes extremely long for me to load in to game, to the point of where others are moving before I can get in to the game. My FPS stays between 40 and 60 during launch and game play. Any other issues that could be causing these two concerns since launch?
Help is appreciated.

i´ve had it also sometimes and have read pressing "esc" and resuming the game would help, but i couldn´t test it as yet

Bump.... anyone have any ideas? This is really starting to be extremely frustrating, it's the only way to communicate with random drop pugs since there's no in game chat system.

You have used the repair tool already? Try something like Eusing Reg cleaner (free and easy to use); may not help, but it won't hurt, either. I have occasionally had this problem and running repair tool and Reg cleaner seems to have cleared it up for quite a while (several weeks).

I don't see a repair option? Only "Change" or "Uninstall". Where do you go to repair?

Tried setting windows xp service pack 3 compatibility... didn't help.

Did the Registry Clean and it took care of it! Game runs faster now too, thanks for the suggestion.

Glad to help. Anytime I can get fellow MWO players to communicate or not DC, I consider it a solid win.
