My name is Burned_Follower.

I have recently left a team due to it being inactive for some time. I'm looking for a team that is populated, active, and is SERIOUS about preparing for Community Warfare and dominating when it's out.

Due having RL stuff that I need to take care of such as having a life, starting college this fall(hopefully), being involved in ministry(November last year I got right with God, stopped drinking/partying and became a preacher) among other RL responsibilities. So when it comes to being active, I can contribute a few nights a week for practice, combat training, or just simply doing a lot of drops together. I am usually logged into MWO and either doing drops or hanging out in the MechLab between 6:PM and 9:PM eastern standard time.

I'm looking for the kind of team that is SUCCESSFULLY COMPETING IN 12 MAN DROPS, is well coordinated, etc.

The reason I'm looking for this specific kind of team is because MWO is literally the only game I play. I am VERY competitive and I want to become the best competitive MechWarrior that I can be. And the only way I can accomplish this is to surround myself with MechWarriors that are better than me. That's the only way I'll grow and move forward. I don't view MWO as a video game. I see it as an online sport and treat it as such.
I've been playing MW games since MW4:Vengeance and I have experience competing in both the MWL(MechWarriorLeagues) and Empire....assuming anybody remembers those leagues...oh, those where the days!

I will make it clear that I am a Christian and that even though I just dedicated my life to Christ November last year, I am trying to train myself to stop using profanity, and I would like to be a part of a team that is a bit more conservative when it comes to cursing, talking about things that as a Christian I don't need to be listening to, etc. I don't look down on gamers that are like that, I'm just trying to live a certain life style that is different than most.

I'm not the stuck up, yuppy type. I'm usually all Gothed out in my black clothes, spikes/chains/tattoo art on my body etc when I worship at church.

But for the sake of being competitive, you don't have to be a Christian group for me to be a part of it. Just be warned what kind of a person I am. If you respect my lifestyle and don't try to force your ways on me you'll not get any drama from me. If somebody starts asking me questions about the Bible, etc, out of respect for your team I will drop into a different channel or have them join me on a separate Team Speak server so we can talk about stuff like that.

So if you think I might be a good fit for your team, feel free to holler at me! Yes I do have TS and a decent gaming headset(Logitech G930).

I'd definitely go with the Seraphim if I were you, it isn't often you find a group of appropriately like minded individuals to enjoy your passions with, and it seems like an excellent match based on the criteria you described here. More power to you for trying to remain faithful, it isn't an easy task.

Yup Seraphim is the place to be, they have companies preparing for CW, as well as tournament teams (TST's) if you want to compete right now.

Just as the others said, thanks for the referrals! It means a lot knowing there's people in the mwo community trying to help others out. Personally I wanted to be competitive, but I didn't like the idea of just joining a competitive team due to bad experiences in other games. Found the Seraphim, and now I'm captain of a solid company! We'd love to have you!

Code of Conduct:

Article 1:
We consider HONOR above ALL; We will treat all members of the MechWarrior community with courtesy and respect. We will address each officer as Sir and use the ~S~ to acknowledge others when entering or leaving a game, or beginning or ending a communication. “Smack Talk” or derogatory comments are never warranted.

Article 2:
We will play hard and we will play fair. We never “Back Stab” or shoot our own in combat or practice. We will give every opponent our best effort and we will ensure that our conduct in games is beyond reproach. We will engage in no activity, which is not in the spirit of “fair play” or of the mission.

Article 3:
We will recognize the efforts of the many talented people in the MechWarrior community who have contributed so much, so freely by conducting ourselves in the same spirit of MechWarrior sharing. We, as members, will promote our community to the best of our abilities.

Article 5:
We are aware of the fact that many players may be playing over speakers and that wives and children may be present. We are also aware that our pilots come from many time zones around the world and while it may be 2:00 a.m. where you are, it may be 2:00 p.m. where your opponent is and we will ensure our language and behavior on communication programs reflect this.

Article 6:
We recognize the fact that our virtual enjoinment is a unique place, free from the political, religious and economic strife of the real world. We realize that to preserve this “cultural level playing field” we will forego any inflammatory or heated discussions of the political or religious nature.

Article 7:
We realize one of the benefits of belonging to the Head Hunters is a group who has agreed to play by the same rules, and conduct themselves by the same Code. We will identify ourselves as belonging to such a group by displaying the “HHoD” in our call sign at all times while online and we will be held accountable for our actions while displaying the HHoD call sign.

Article 8:
We believe the greatest asset of this group is the member. Our MechWarrior world is the product of the selfless contributions of countless talented people from around the globe. This group was formed in that spirit of sharing, for the enriched experience and enjoyment of us all. We are a group that has made a commitment to our hobby, and its members. We will all bring something different to contribute to this group, some members may be very talented at one aspect or another of piloting or computers, and others may be highly skilled painters or developers. No matter what our current skill levels are, or how proficient we are at any aspect of the game, we have a number of things in common. We all came online to have combat with other people, we all are playing MechWarrior Online, we all found the time to do this and we all did, or will, require assistance to get the absolute most out of our efforts. We recognize that the real world’s issues must be put before any game or hobby and that there will be no mandatory attendance required of any HHoD member. A member will when able post his availability so we may arrange League battles. HHoD members agree to contribute what time we have to fighting online to our HHoD teammates and forego membership in any other online Battletech/MechWarrior League Team. A member will be moved to active reserve after 30 days of no contact. They will be placed as inactive reserve after 60 days of inactivity. After 180 days of inactivity, a member will be removed from the roster, but will be free to rejoin at a later date if he/she chooses to become active again.

Article 9:
Discipline: Any commander may demote or remove a member from his command for serious offenses of any nature. (The removed member will be placed in an appropriate lance, company, battalion or, regiment pending review by command.) The commander is expected to show just cause. If the member does not agree with the action taken as a result of this offense, The member may choose to take this action to General Review(Court Martial). Court Martial is trial by the five (5) highest ranking members available. The member may challenge one (1) member on the trial board. One (1) continuance is allowed per side. The issuing commander will be prosecutor. The member may speak for himself or choose council. All infractions involving Suspension or Removal of a member by anyone other than the RCTCO or RCTXO must be approved up the CoC to the RCTXO. If the RCTXO abstains or disapproves, the decision will fall to the RCTCO. A member may appeal to a Command General Review. This is the five (5) Highest Commanding Officers. All offences less than these issues are to be considered petty offences. Verbal then written warnings are to be issued. After three (3) written warnings within 3 months a General Review is required. The RCTCO and RCTXO reserve the right to remove members at their discretion at any time with out any further procedures to ensure the integrity and for the benefit of the entire team.

Good luck with your search and even though we do have competitive players and do plan on being very involved in CW. We also have players with real life commitments like yourself and we never put the game above God and Family obligations. Feel free to check us out. God Bless

The Knight Wardens and The Seraphim were both founded in the idea for those who are searching for the God can come to play as well as share in that search. I can't speak for 3G but have heard the same.

I can say at The Seraphim that we offer all kinds of play to fit your desires for the game. We offer more the fellowship you may wish to find.

I have spent many evenings into the late mornings in some very great and enlightening discussions about many RL endeavours. We've laughed, cried, and prayed together for some time now.

Take your desire to God and ask him to lead you in your choice of which unit will best bring you the growth in Christ you need.

Hope to see you soon.

Remember, God first, family, other responsibilities, then this game. No one can condemn you for this.

Your friend and fellow believer,

BLU, The Seraphim.

Even if CW does not materialize soon in MWO, there are other sites that can be used to provide for those needs. The Seraphim has one team that will be participating in the 4th season of Proxis when it gets up and running. So, there are games out there for 12 man competition and when private drop lobbies become available, these will really shine till MWO gets theirs set up.

There are actually quite a few groups doing these types of play as well that are at a high degree of competativeness like Sword of Kentares, HHOD, Templars and others who we Seraphim end up practicing against on a regular basis and are grateful they're out there doing the same. Props where props are due. Of course, the most fun for me are when we have multiple companies practicing in house and we get to get into sibling tussles against them. It's all fun and games till someone loses a Jenner.

Seraphim have enough recruits in their overly populated unit :D come join the Blue Star Irregulars... we're a semi-competitive/semi-casual group of players from barely-legal adults to almost-senior citizens! :(
And currently recruiting to form Second Battalion.
