Shadow Hawk - pls clean up the SHD Cockpit Window as it is a much stronger and distracting effect as i.e. in my BJ.

Do you have a pic to compare them to? I have both Mechs, but it's difficult to determine what you mean without some visual aid.

Just give us the option to remove Cockpit Glass and "Film Grain", the two most headache- and nausea-inducing parts of the game.

that would be more realistic, but too much realism may discourage newbies

Too many bugs might too, PGI doesn't seem to mind. :(

Wasn't there talk from the devs about putting in a toggle for the glass ? I don't remember what the "final word" on it was.

Yeah, the Cicada is still pretty bad too. I wish they would just do away with this crappy effect altogether. It doesn't look good, it's not immersive, it diminishes the impact of all the great work done by the environment, map, and mech artists, and it's frustrating for the player. Seriously, there is no upside to this effect in my opinion.

How the hell could Dennis green light something like this? Unless it was his idea?

I think it would be better if they simply made the middle of the glass clearer and the corners and edges a little dirty. They can still add a toggle for people that hate it, but it would be a good step to take.

They have said that there will be an option to turn off cockpit glass. For now I'm sure you can find a way to do it through the config file.

I think it's only going to be available as a toggle In private matches. At least give us wipers

It is 1,000 years in the future, and in the grueling internecine wars for domination they have lost the formula for Windex.

The future is not bright...
