As for achievements, I have taken the view that since I am latency challenged, they do not matter to me, but are another North American focussed award that the rest of the world, especially the West Pacific, has to suffer the bragging of those who obtain them. At least for the single mission based ones.

Yea I'm playing like usual: just piloting the one I like for fun plus the one I'm trying to master. Need that XP

This is why I gave up on stats.

Due to close combat issues (latency), I equip my mech for Counter-ECM, Spotting/Tagging, and Conquest Capping. In the end, efficiency in game is instead determined by damage and kills.

Stats are for people who don't believe in force multipliers.

good , with the implementation of the new stats, It would be nice if we could have stats broken down in a similar fashion to that available with smart phones for data usage. IOW>
Overall.. Stats since the beginining ala march 18.
and then a slider.. stats from last night, the previous week etc. Its a way for players to track their own performance..

OMG i had a great night last night.. put slider on last day, and it shows all the relevant stats..
OMG i had a horrible week, put slider on last week and it shows all relevant stats for that time period.

I think it would be a good feature that many would enjoy. This way you can see how "really" great, or crappy ones performance is during a stated time frame.

Unfortunately, this would require far more database updates, plus date stamps on stats, each game needing to be accounted for separately to cycle out of the time period.

I am a victim of lag too. But I can't see how that will affect our ability to earn achievements?

For longterm objectives it doesn't. However, the examples given are all single drop achievements earned in combat. Combat is much tougher against opponents with 1/4 of the latency you suffer. Forget shooting (HSR), the real issue is one of perception and reaction to sudden events (Yeah, my latency is usually higher than the sum of the rest of my lance).

The single drop achievements seem to be more like a tournament replacement. No doubt I'll gain a few, but they'll be backdrop to just ploughing on.

I can only hope the full list will include those earned over multiple drops, and offer direction for newer mechwarriors.

I will be more likely grinding Titanfall weapon EXP in the meantime. Unless tonight patch is going bring in some funny stuff.
