Hi All,

Has anyone ever remade this video? That has always been one of my favorites...and now my 6 year old loves it too.

For me, this is just classic. A Mad Dog running and gunning...then getting blown to snot followed by a group of IS heavy and assault mechs lumbering through. Ahhh.......

Back in 1998 or around there we made a all intro movie of all the mechwarrior games here is the link quality is so so part1-2 and also my website on mech games its not done but some stuff is still there and some clips of us playing on WWW.GAMERANGER.COM

Maybe Kilroy might give a try at this...............he's done well on his other videos.

Well I could ask Andreas80 and help him abit with rigging the models.

The problem is the enormous effort that has to be put into completely self-made sceneries and last but not least the gigantic rendering time.

If the community could work together on this one, I could see it happening.
Like Heffay exporting, texturing and rigging the models, my media unit (TMC) creating the assets and scenery and someone else maybe animating, then putting it into a render cloud and we render it alltogether.

That would be so cool. Would love to participate.

When we will have private matches, Canyon Network night and Union Dropships..

It would be quite easier to make the original MW2 intro, but it would not be the same with daylight.. MWLL is just better for these things. There is also spectator mode.. I started working on a remake of the MW2 intro (and one has been already made) but then we have all been busy with the tournament going on.

Heya, I've got a remake of the original MW2 intro in the works and will probably do the ending to mercs since it's actually fairly simple.

Here's my Mercs Intro remake.




Ghost Bear's Legacy remake.





The MW2 intro is already mostly done but I recently moved so I'm basically internet-less for a bit and can't exactly drag my behemoth of a desktop into a starbucks to upload it.

I won't jinx myself by giving an exact release date, but soon.




(It'll will probably look a bit different in the end, but you get the idea.)

I can only say: Awesome.

Looks really cool!

But when private matches hit, the TMC will be pumping up it's prodcution again, if we are done with our videos, we can look at stuff like this and do little machinimas

MW2 ending with the Jade Falcons on the moon facing Terra is the best :-)
