Since open beta began:

$120 worth of MC in 2013 - Spent on hero mechs on sale and mechbays aswell as the occational GXP conversion.

$80 on Project Phoenix in 2013

$120 on a Direwolf Collection in 2014 - I did not buy into founders because there was no clan mechs announced and CW seemed way to ambitious for PGI at the time given the netcode issues and their tiny size. Although now they can realistically achieve it and are working faster than before. This is probably all I'll spend in 2014. Besides, 10 bucks a month is nothing and the clan mechs in the Direwolf package happen to be my favourites and cost over 200 million cbills alltogether.

$60, as I'm not a battle tech fan it seems about right from the content I have experienced.

I've not spent anything yet, but I would like to, probably on mechbays, maaaaybe on the Blackjack hero if that becomes a thing. :) I don't have any electronically-transferable money at the moment, but that may change soon.

More than I would have ever liked to had I known how this would end up. Bought the Overlord package hoping it would help improve the game. Nope, worse (and laggier) UI, more balance changes that were practically the opposite of what should have happened...

Hey, at least we have skirmish mode now. That's money well spent, right?

Founders, Phoenix, Mad Cat, Thor, YLW, Muromets, Pretty Baby, Heavy Metal, Dragonslayer, Protector, Ember, Golden Boy, various items and Mechs, but almost nothing since the Gauss Rifle De-sync and Ghost heat were added. Those two nerfs pretty much stopped any need for new Mechs, which stopped any need for new items also.

I am not griping, I bought the Ember and the two Clan mechs, they do some unique things, but the Gauss Rifle de-sync (which can't be used with a Joystick), and Ghost heat really put the Clampdown on Mechlab. Mechlab= the reason to buy new things.

Release the Bandersnatch or Hammerhands, or Zeus, and I will buy them though. Mechs in the 75-80 ton range are under represented.

CW is coming, not mad about the delay.

Elite Founder/Overlord - was hoping the money would help grow the game but PGI has failed to deliver on multiple occasions. And with mechanics like Ghost heat still in play, PGI lost $500.00

Just curious.

I'll go first. I spent $120 on the founders package. Nothing else since.

They won't get another dime from me until we have a Chat lobby and Community Warfare. The game simply isn't the same without it.

But that's irrelevant.

How much have you given them?

Bought a $60 Founders package, pretty much it w/exception to mech bay slots. Do not intend on investing any more money until CW's is implemented.

$0.

I'd buy it, if it was a full game release with a solid campaign and the whole works, like MW2: Mercs, MW3, and MW4: Mercs. But spending money on a F2P game, especially one that you enjoy playing, is dumb imo. Grind it out and let the rewards come gradually. What's the hurry? Patience pays off.

Also, still no Community Warfare...... I'm glad I haven't spent a dollar on this. That was it for me. To me, that was the game's raison de etre. A persistent world, multiplayer Mech Warrior experience in the Battle Tech universe. When I read about that I was completely sold on the idea. I was expecting to be playing the faction warfare very soon after I signed up. I was even ready to dish out some cash and get bundles, packs and *premium time. I wanted my time playing online to have some sort of impact in and on the game. But sadly, it turned out to be endless, mind-numbing mech deathmatch.

Right now I'm very jaded about MWO.

*PGI, if you're reading this, please do the right thing and have premium time count down only when you log on to play. Thanks. Making money is the goal, but you don't want to alienate your consumer doing it.

I've spent around 100 euro. Mostly on mechs (to save time grinding) and some premium time.

Although I don't feel cheated out of it, judging by the ease I've spent that money, I would have spent a lot more if PGI showed any concern in addressing problems plaguing the game that are being constantly brought up in the forums or at least any consistency in gameplay changes. Additional features like clan warfare and such would be a bonus, currently I am content with having an FPS that can keep me busy for a couple of hours whenever I get the time to play.

Actually the question in the Threads title is silly. You either spent money or you spent none.Even if you almost spend money you have spent none.

$15 a week for 6 months and one crazy weekend of $240. Plus founders Pack $80. so $680 or so. That was a year ago in March... $0 since.

220-250$ on hero mechs, mech bays and premium time. If the launch module is good I might buy some more premium time.

Hard to say, but probably around 150$. Judging by how much fun I've had with the game for over a year now, I consider it well spend.

Legendary 120$
Overlord 80$
Saber 30$
Sarah 10$
Masakari 240$
MC 1300$

= 1780$
Thank god i pay in €
= 1335€

As i have only bought 2 or 3 other games during these almost 2 years and no game subscriptions where running it wasnt more expensive than it would have been without it.

Guess i count as blue whale, but i think there are also Leviathan out there.
