Those Gold Mechs are a token of gratitude for a donation.
Nothing more, nothing less.
"...on parting words, exclusivity means power" sorry bro but you are totally wrong here.
Many F2P games offer the option to donate. Nothing special here.
Path of Exile for example lets you craft your own legendary, incredibly powerful item with your own flavour text on it going ingame the next patch with vey low droprates for everyone to acquire. Costs about 500-1000 USD. That's pretty much the same here with the Gold Khan Pack. Basicly it's a donation.
I'm not here to argue and it seems like a sidetrack from the issue. You quoted me about exclusivity and then demand that I am wrong but what you say in the very next breath contradicts one's self,
"Path of Exile for example lets you craft your own legendary, incredibly powerful item with your own flavour text on it going ingame the next patch with vey low droprates for everyone to acquire."
No one is excluded from the offer, so it's the same as you say 'drop rates for everyone to acquire'. The rates being equivalent of some one actually having that much spare money is around the same as looting a 'rare' item. Exclusivity as in, you'll be one of very few as you obtain items that others can't it becomes unique to you. The original point is, if you're that die hard to spend 500 dollars, then the mystery extras that may just vanish along with the stretch goals should be included. Perspective is an enemy.
...and to add flavor to the opinion, any MechWarrior fan of the deep, rich history and lore would not play this game and purchase shiny favorites if they did not LOVE the Lore. It's not about the Mech but about the whole package, missing nothing that graces this land BattleTech or MechWarrior. The fight to never let anything MW die.
