Serious question - I've seen a lot of posts from people last few patches saying to use the Repair Tool to "update" the game instead of using the client launcher. What's your take? Which is the preferred/safer method?

So, Honest Question To The Devs: Update Through Client, Or Run Repair Tool Instead?

My Patch Day steps:
Update through the client.
Once the button says PLAY, exit out of client.
Then run the Repair Tool.
If RT finds errors, run RT again.
Once RT finishes with no errors, it's "safe" to bring up the client and press PLAY.

Patch first, then MWO Repair Tool.
Saves a lot of hassle in the grand scheme of things. If you go straight to the MWO Repair Tool, you might as well be running a complete reinstall because you'll be downloading virtually every file that was modified since the previous patch.
