Met the same guy in his ACH-E again and his scores are definitely not what his leaderboard suggests... am thinking that he probably is doing only well in unit drops. Pretty crap in solo qp.

Another weird thing is how his season 1-18 were not that exceptional. But season 19 is like ridiculously high.

just finished what would otherwise be a good game in one of my urbies- snub PPC, ML 4 LMGs, even had a snap shot kill on some mech I saw briefly out of ideal snub range flying past that I took a potshot at. brought the team back to 8-9 after 3 straight kills before they realized the wrath of urbie had descended upon them and so the two freshest mechs ganged up on me and took out all my weapons. not kill me of course for I am urbie. they finished off the last couple friendlies before leaving me for last.

we lose 8-12, I check the score 4 kills, woohoo, 3 assists, ok, 332 damage not bad... ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY TWO TEAM DAMAGE!?!??!?!?!?! match score- 0

once again I fall for the stealth pixels of doom. hiding under the ramps I move to the center of the gap, fire my arty at the 4 enemy mechs at the ramp across the way. so naturally the red smoke comes up right in my face and apparently I had lots of friendlies around at the time to take the damage. why don't I peek first from the cover then back up into it again? because everytime I do I get focused down before I can even fire it. and I aimed directly in the center of the empty space provided by the gap. still not enough space apparently.

Hi Fellow Whiners!

My whine: (Which now it seems like the bi-annual whine, not the daily whine) is that time is short and life is busy. I have been away from the game almost a year now, and it is incredibly hard to find your way back in with all of the changes! Or rather, my play time is usually only about 30 minutes and when you are staring at several dozen, now unskilled, mechs with no knowledge of the skill tree, it feels very daunting.

Quick update: In the past year, we had our 5th child, she will be 1 year old next week, we had a pair of sibling foster kids that eventually went on to be adopted by a wonderful family just last month, I took on a part time job as the Family Ministries Coordinator at my church and I am working towards ordination, in addition to continuing on as a self-employed building contractor. . . sooooo . . . not a lot of gaming lately

and the pixels get me again- this time on grim. hiding behind the hill aim an arty upwards at the top of a building diagonally off to the side so hill not in play. red smoke appears at my feet... 132 team damage. maybe I should try to intentionally arty my team so the red guys actually take some damage....

2 assaults get crushed at saddle and claims that we threw the assaults under the bus while the entire team was over at tunnels... As in they basically camped at saddle for the whole time the other 10 mechs made their way over to the other side and did not check minimap once.

Luckily it started 0-2 but ended 12-6 in our favour

If I had a single MC for every time some "1337-MeChJ0Ck" charged into the enemy, died immediately, and then spent the rest of the match whining about how we're losing because of all the "terri-bad n00bs" on our team, only to "rage-disconnect" just before the match ends and we all see that this "Paragon of Piloting" got 0 kills, 0 assists, and logged a whopping 83 damage in that shiny new Ebon Jaguar they were piloting before it ended up as our first mech on the scrap-pile...

Well, let's just say that I'd probably own everything available for MC in the store, and then some.

Gifts for all my friends if that ever becomes a way that this game awards MC!

I just saw this in my game again... Its always the perpetually <1 WLR guys who do this and whine all the time. Its pretty much always the same few.

Oh shoot, yeah, about that "sig thing", so Loopala, turns out 3x and I are moving some of our accounts around, and forming a Merc unit (I'll admit it felt pretty odd to break my Davion loyalty, having been a "Davion Loyalist" on here since before that was even a thing), so...

I mean, if you needed a Merc unit to be in and all.

The same invite, of course, is extended to any and all of our fellow Daily Whiners, Underrated Locust Pilots, etc...

Only by sheer luck I wasn't team killed twice tonight. I did get half my mech blown off though on each of those occasions by people shooting through me.

Each match tonight was like training grounds. Everyone parked behind me, everyone tried to shoot through each other, a couple of suicides, each game the team just pissed off and abandoned their assaults even when they could see they needed help.

I rant about the match maker or rather lack of one but then I really know that it has a hard time on the very best of occasions finding good players.

If I was a brand new player tonight it would of been immediately uninstalled.

Don't own any Stalkers yet, and was messing around with the Trial one on one of my alt accounts, just to see how I like it.

It is, of course, a pretty standard 3F build, that trial mech, 4 ML, 4 LRM 10, TAG, so I, of course, hang back a bit and start lobbing LRMs.

Next thing you know, some "1337WaRr1or" starts in all caps chat about the Assaults needing to move up and starts shooting me in the back with MGs and stuff, turning my rear torso sections yellow before you know it.

I ignored him, kept using my mech as it was designed to be used, and ended the match with top kills/damage in a win for us.

Also, thanks to him doing all that preliminary damage to me before I even encountered any enemies, I also got all the "survive a match after getting almost killed" achievements since it didn't take many enemy rounds to get me down to that dire a situation.

Ended as a stick, with no weapons.

I'm very late to the stalker party too after 'winning' the 3fb on the stocking stuffer event. That was a day of intense scouting missions (for the 3x rewards) in my arrow that I won't repeat again. On the last day only to find it was extended at the last minute. Thanks.

Decked out eventually with 6xmpl and 2xasrm6 with obligatory ECM and bigger engine and it's great. Bit counter intuitive deliberately staring at an enemy due to its hit boxes. But it's got a mean punch.

Teammate dcs but manages to come back. I heavy gauss him in the back of the head for insta kill when he runs in front.
