It will be interesting to see how it works. I currently participate in both TS with my group and pugging, but I probably end up doing the latter maybe 70% of the time, partly because I'm somewhat of a loner (I mean an introvert) and at the end of a long workday "don't [particularly] want to speak with anyone", but mostly because I usually end up playing an hour here or there, and joining a TS group seems like a larger time commitment than just picking up a PUG game or three. Given the rude behavior I've seen in the PUG text chat, I have my doubts about the effectiveness of in-game VOIP, but I suppose time will tell.

If it makes you feel better tomorrow is potty cleaning day. Weather is predicted to -10f or colder. Got 5 port-a-potties out on a pipeline 40 miles away and 2 90 miles away. I just want to stay home and play MWO. Oh well off to work I go. No work, no pay, have work to sopport my bad habits of eating and having a warm home...

Yeah...being a land surveyor is great...until you have to do construction layout at a site 3 1/2 hours away.....at least we're getting paid well for it....we bid the job ridiculously high, thinking (hoping) we wouldn't get it....And wham...now I have to spend random night up here for the next 4+ months...

I finally got the Champion Panther's ERPPC cool enough to handle, but I haven't found the handle on how to pilot them yet. I'm not touching the enforcer yet. Stomach's gotta cool down from running the panthers.

yep they are no fire starter. i see a place for them but it is still a blurry mirage just on the horizon

I will go so far as to say the panther may need a slight adjustment to leg strength. They seem to come off pretty easy as compared to say a Jenner.

Forest Colony. The red team had an lrm boat. . . so 3 of my run back to base and camp there for awhile 5-6 go hide in the tunnel. Not flanking, they just went in and stopped and stood there. No one talking on voice comms (which is fine but how do you get half the team to agree to hide in the tunnel and not push through it without any coordination?). . . I need to get a microphone so I can ask these guys what they are thinking. . . you know for sociological research purposes.


BTW. . . the push through the tunnel finally happened when a firestarter and I(in a locust) used the tunnel to try to flank the enemy team. . . but it failed when the direwolf got to the opening and saw and enemy so backed back in.

I think my playing is getting worse, my K/D ratio is steadily dropping and over the last few weeks i just can't seem to get the regular kills i'm used too and i'm particularly disapointed of my performance in my arrow last night. What on earth was i thinking going toe to toe with a stormcrow!!! Kill most damage, when my team mate came too late to my rescue, killing him just after i died wasn't enough.

Weirdly my performance in the Locust 1E is doing quite well?? And i seem to of forgotten how to pilot a Jagermech, My Awesome's while Awesome against a lot of IS mechs just seem to do noticeably worse against clan mechs.

my old qkd-5k loadout isnt workign anymore either. too many high-alpha mechs with too good cooling currently ruin alot of things (plus hitreg failures everywhere).

and well, since i got the second pneumonia i decided that i got a personal anthem.

I told them to group up on Assaults for a change. We have the cover, we have the firepower, why dont you group up here?

But no, as Nascar-ring in the solo land some guy protested and the team though it was a good idea to lose atleast 10% on each Assault mech because we have to cross the river.

Then the guy proceed to whine 'Are you in the top tournament?'

I knew exactly the outcome: D3 side got overrun and we all got stomped on the spot of the holy statues. Nascar-online.

Aye, my PTT broke during a cw match and didn't work since...during all my pug matches last night the most speakers in any one match was THREE..which I was one of....
From what I've seen it's only useful in CW-where it is a wonderful idea. In pug matches not really-people are not really inclined to work together in a casual environment. So I'll turn it off for pug games but have it on for cw:)
What I need to work out now though, is how to set TS up to reduce the volume of mwo when I or a mate speaks? Because currently TS+voip is VERY confusing and intrusive.

eh, its just driving a bonus lap to its 1 year anniversary because it propably feels like home in my chest and decided to come back -.-

Because when the lights spawn at H8 they get blood thirsty in hope the assaults of the opponents spawwn at the dropship, trying to also go counterclockwise.
