it's silly
firstly it's impossible for 'almost everyone' on both teams to have 1-3 kills, whom would they kill then, say almost everyone it's 10 of 12, if 10 of 12 get 1-3 kills each it seems already bigger than 12 enemy players and enemy players have to get 1-3 kills each too...
secondly, your game ended 12-9, 7 players on your team had 300+ damage (you and adder stole ('secured') a few of their kills) and 6 players on the enemy team had 300+ damage too (also two had almost 300), by all standards it was a good and close game; as for 'you know its bad when a Adder and a Highlander has to carry the whole team' i don't get why you even play that mech (an assault btw) if you think it cannot carry
and thirdly, stomps, even 12:0 stomps, often are a result of some mistake on the team's part, not of a mm failure; i think i had sub 100 damage games with and vs nearly the same people with and vs whom i had liek ~5 kills 800-1000+ damage games, it's just a matter if i could get into a proper position or not; my sub 100 games are pretty rare though

pick a dire- he stands staring at a building far from the battleifield. find him after I die away from the battlefield with another assault.
couple twolves? yup they go off on their own and run into the whole team.
try an atlas- stays in the back of the group where my short range weapons are useless.
RTB on a cap? run past three friendly mechs closer than me to it (i'm in an urbie btw) lobbing lrms towards the other side of the map. find three enemy there- target them for all these lrm mechs before dying- not one lrm fired at them- we lose to cap. after of course multiple mechs play peek and shoot from just outside the square the three enemy mechs are standing in.
watch the back for lights- get destroyed by said lights alone despite multiple people reporting lights behind us.
big brawl at saddle- enemy hasn't peeked in a while- I head to tunnel, die to entire remaining enemy team coming from tunnel already halfway to us- warn team- most still stare at the saddle until they get shot because they got a brief sight of ONE mech on their radar
and unbasiced commandos don't like me today- can barely break 100dmg

Most players' ping play up by 200% ~ 700%.
Up by similar percentage: player rage in chat.

The rage is real man, lol especially the N. America players. All shocked and appalled that using a server a few continents away gives them high ping

I need to know what they are doing. Are they on the toilet? Hve they gone out to smoke? Did their girlfriend shoot them? What? What? What?

All week, great matches, fun matches, the odd dud here and there, but overall, pretty competent play all around.
Saturday morning, mini LRMageddon starts, suddenly instead of 3-4 ECM mechs, I see none on my team...
Normally I'm not too concerned with LRMs, not too many in my bracket, and they aren't hard to get away from, or charge. Now all the sudden I'm actually dying to them because there's actually enough around to wipe out a mech when 2-3 focus fire.
Add to that, the general and completely usual derpiness of the Weekend Mech Warriors...those guys who only play a bit each weekend, and grace us with their complete ineptitude at anything and everything tactical or even remotely containing common sense.
I don't know why I continue to do this to myself...I'm a sucker for CBills, XP, and free stuff I guess.

so, it was alpine conquest and i as usually was in a streakcrow; enemy captured 4 of 5 points, both teams crowded in the center near theta and so i, being useless in the peekaboo game, decided to do a risky move and to cap sigma, which they recently took, alone; i knew i could meet there 2 or even 3 mechs, but decided to risk, i had a good chance to kill 1-2 lights or even a light and a lightish med (not very well piloted ofc) at once if they didn't have double ecm, but that's obviously was a very risky decision, especially since enemy noticed me and lasered a bit from afar; i moved pretty careful with some hill rounding but i met nobody; meantime my team was rushed and changed 11 our mechs for 1 enemy blackjack; i even captured that point albeit it was very (probably unneedingly) risky, then i fled being chased by 11 enemy mechs, which lasered me from afar, and hid behind a hill on the far north, waiting for visitors... but nobody came, their lights were probably either too far or too afraid and heavies had no time to reach me till their 5 points (they recapped sigma) got them the victory

every drop today has had the team run away from our assaults....the asaults get surrounded by the entire enemy team, and the rest of the team not even move back to assist...they just wait for all the firepower to get killed and then march back one by one to their deaths

I tried to flank under the manifold while the rest of our team was falling down like puppets. A Lynx and a hunchback was left with me under the manifold. We were outnumbered by 6 i believe.
I expected something which te word EXPECT from Pugs was a huge mistake. They're like dead robots: cant think. I shouldnt expect anything from them unless a familar good name / pilot i see.
Back to the manifold. I always utilise any cover when possible. The manifold is a perfect example of how to cover. The pillars are excellent for a sneaky attack. The Lynx and the Hunchback ran outside and splitted up and end up killed.
I was like... Wtf were you thinking?!
I didnt go into the open. You most likely get killed. I make use of the situation available. So i stood under cover. Took one Direwolf out and ran for their base as soon i noticed some went for base (because cover and sligtly better ground) because they thought i was AFK/DC. Then the cool slurs as 'wasting my time' etc came out.
I was moving, i was a alive player. Red CT and you couldnt find a 100 ton mech with 5 players.
Perhaps i should have hysterically laugh when the timer went out and took another mech out and i lived.

heh, i recall one pretty funny death to a huggin when i, being red cored from both sides, fled on my crow from several slowish heavies, it was the crimson strait map, i ran right in the surf below the western quay; since my ct was cherry red and they shot me with lasers, i turned my arm to cover the back and ran looking at the wall of the quay 90 degrees from my path, here a huggin appeared over the wall and shot me right into the red ct turned there before i even could blink....

Getting TKed in a light is kind of common.

I do so so in it. I remember all the whiners a few months ago who said it was OP. In my opinion it is not. It can be devastating in some situations but you need the moon and the stars to align. If not it is a good mech but far from OP. It can't kill assaults left right and center if the assault pilot know what he is doing, especially if he has a team mate who is not sleeping on his post.

I really don't feel the need to elaborate there, it's just kind of a general statement about the intelligence of most people I encounter in online games and forums.
To be fair, I've met some of the most intelligent, and absolutely coolest individuals ever online....unfortunately, they're vastly outnumbered by people that I'm surprised actually know how to turn their PCs on...
