I just bought a pair of Catapults during the Front Line Event and they get gutted as well. Thankfully it was only C-bills and I haven't spent MC on a Jester yet or I would be hitching a ride to Vancouver to ask for my money back.

Maybe they are going to balance everything to victors, vindicators, and mist lynxes. That would explain all the nerfs going on

i usually just flank the complete enemy team in a far route and smack their campers. a bit hard to do with assaults but the kdk is still fast enuff to do it i guess oh dont forget: rage at the dumb team because you got plenty of time to do that on that long march
sometimes they even listen and distract the enemy for ya

If you mean reducing the Catapults internal structure to properly represent it's size and scale then, yes, they did "Nerf" it. If you mean you require an advantage to be competitive then no they did not "Nerf" it.

i was just commenting on this current rounds of nerfs. actually the victor has done ok in that last couple of rounds of nerfs. one day the Victor will be OP again (insert evil laugh here)

I wish I could see crimson once in a while even if my team always leaves themselves vulnerable to getting hit from behind 99% of the time.

getting worse with mining collective for me- the only time I don't get it picked is when it's not a choice... it ALMOST makes me wish I get Bog instead.

also I notice close range/brawlers are a bad choice this weekend. it's LRM/snipefest- I think half the mechs have dual ERPPCs for this event. I've been doing horrible even in my usual go-to event mediums.

sigh...another weekend where the assaults on my team can't break 300 damage..hell, the entire assault lance has trouble breaking 300 damage combined...

even i had that problem with my assaults tho spongey.
but i blame myself for actually playing brawling highlanders.
should have known that i get permanently left behind from the other at least 7 chickens in my *team* to fight my own.
even when i said from start im gonna go tunnel on crimson i was left alone to literally suicide. (well, the dakka-dire died just a second after me because i smacked his face too hard with my highlander)

That is sad. Funny how often it is the assaults with the low scores. Probably got killed by some guy in an OP 2 erppc Adder, plz Nurf!

You need either a better build, better aim, or more ammo. 730 is not bad, but not good damage for a freaking assault in QP.
