So Ive unlocked several things... like Light Assist, Medium, etc... and got no C-bills for them. What am I doing wrong?

There's a redeem button at the end of a match.
Note that some of them -- like the cadet bonuses -- were rewarded when you were a new player -- but you will see them come up as rewards.

Yeah, what happens if ones game crashes, or if you hit that button and it doesnt change your cash?

Well, I had a game crash once. It came up again when I logged back in. There's also a whether or not it succeeds message.
