I played most of the mech warrior titles in the past but im leary about purchasing a founders pack without playing beta. Many have purchased based on there passion on this game and i applaud them. However, I would be apt to purchase the legendary or whatnot if i had a chance to play, perhaps a beta weekend.Hell, give me 15 minutes and i might do just on that short time frame. I can gaurantee that if i enjoyed the game i would drop the 120 bucks

It is not allot really. Even looking at it that you will only have the four mechs in the end. Those four mechs will come with free mech bays and will always earn you +25% more c-bills each game.
Looking at it as a cost per hour, every hour you play with one of those mechs readjusts the amount you payed per hour for those mechs. So if you play for 100 hours...you payed only $1.20 an hour to play a game you enjoy, and you WILL enjoy it. How could you not love giant death machines.
This is no more or less difficult then going to a gamestop and buying a couple console games sight unseen. Or may be preordering a couple games before there have been any reviews, and even then there is a chance you will not like them. So in the end...all you can do is pay your money and take your chances. But the chances are good that you will enjoy this game as you have enjoyed the other Mechwarrior titles in the past.

Brother, I've spent THOUSANDS on Battletech board games, Technical Readouts, video games, plastic miniatures and every novel ever written. This is the best game and the most intense storyline ever!! You're talking 30 Starbucks coffees, 20 packs of smokes..........and this will last MUCH longer and be so much more fun. Opportunity knocks once, in a month and a half you'll regret not buying it!!

I'm shy as well. My computer isn't the latest or greates. I can play WoT just fine, but before I drop money on a 'preorder' I'd love to know that I can play the game.

$120 gamble.
Back before I was married that was a layout for a first date. Dinner, wine/drinks, movie/show, coffee/desert, fuel for the car, ect.. No idea if you would like them or they would like you. What's the difference? At least in the context of the IP, I know "her sister was hot and great in the sack". So even less of a gamble.

You gamble every day with your money, many simply don't realize it.

Me, I just "took the plunge". I'm pretty sure my system will run just fine.....but if not: UPGRADE!!! I worked hard for the cash and I figure why not use it on something I enjoy!?!
