Hi,

In an email I received today advertising the new achievement system it stated the following:

"You'll accumulate 8 million bonus C-Bills over your next 25 games, even if you've already received the Cadet Bonus before. That's enough C-Bills to buy a whole new BattleMech!"

I am not receiving this bonus. I received a Knight Errant title after the first match I played and have not received any cbills.

Was this a bait and switch tactic to try to get folks to try the game again? If so, it fails when you don't pay out. If it is a bug you need to fix it so that your advertising matches the reality.

So I had my doubts as to the accuracy of your claim as I hadn't myself gotten said Email, but I went back and looked more carefully and low and behold, there it was, sitting in my junk folder, and yes, that text certainly seems to indicate that everyone would be getting the bonus 8+ mil C-bills again.

However, any players who have completed their Cadet bonus have those achievements unlocked already, and therefore cannot get this bonus again. In this case I'm 90% sure that it's just one hand not knowing what the other was doing. Sorry for the confusion (although PGI should be making this apology).

PGI: I can be made to forget your little SNAFU for say... 8 millionish C-Bills?

For the cadet bonus that Knight Errant title is earn from was already given to All a founder account months ago when the cadet bonus was 1st add to the game. So I'm guessing you already spent it.

Yeah, I've recieved that email too...
Would love that 8mil, that's my Catapult set up and 2 locusts.
Or almost a set of Jenners.
Or 2 Ravens.
Or 2 Cicadas.
Or an Orion.
Or only 1.5-2mil shy of an Atlas.

This would be great.
