1.5 would be a barely noticeable difference between an LRM5 and an SRM4-6. It should be 2 or more, after Hit Registration fix. To make up the difference of range and needing to manually aim. If a brawler get close to me from long range I want them to hurt me enough to make up the difference of what shots hit them at long range.

SRMs aren't completely useless, but for the tonnage and range, they're lackluster, even when they register. Even with perfect hit reg., they really ought to either have higher damage of cluster much tighter. Remember the spiral artemis pattern? Those were so attractive looking and really made artemis worth taking (considering the high weight requirement on missile boating mechs).
