I hate starting threads... lol be merciful. Since the latest patch, 4.1.2014, my secondary monitor now switches to fullscreen black while in-game. Prior to the patch, I was able to view my secondary monitor which displays things like Mumble, MSI Afterburner, my GPU and CPU meters.
I've tried switching the monitor primary/secondary designations and resulted in the same effect. I am curious if anyone else has encountered this, and if so know a workaround? I'm waiting to file a support ticket while I get some feedback here and try troubleshooting on my end.
Appreciated (no screens available obviously lol)

So after some playing with last night, I was able to get my secondary monitor (#2) working after alt-tabbing several times once the match commenced. This does not work however while prior to the match. Once the monitor started to display again (from it's black screen due to MWO in fullscreen mode) it didn't revert back to effecting #2. However, it is something I will need to do every time I drop into the first match of the day... until resolved. Will do further testing to rule out filing a support ticket or not.

Are you running it in fullscreen windowed or fullscreen?

So... using DX11, Fullscreen view mode, 1920x1080 resolution, dual-screen monitor (not setup for viewing game across both screens): Primary is game display... Secondary is Mumble, MSI Afterburner, my GPU and CPU meters. Further testing last night resulted in determining that it takes between 4-6 alt-tab commands to remove the black screen effect on my secondary monitor, even while inside the Mechlab prior to dropping in a match. Anyone want to take a stab at this?

I hope you are not expecting a reply to this ......those of us with dual setups take a back seat to the latest Camo/Mech sale.

Running dual monitors as well (one ultrawide and one standard full hd) and I do not have that issue at all. Second monitor displays whatever I want to display and also doesn't go black. Only thing that happened for me is that VLC force closes anytime I start MWO so no more shooting mechs and watching a movie at the same time..
Using DX11 fullscreen mode on my primary ultrawide..
