So i found out that DirectX11 options seem to crash my system.
I have fresh install of windows since i upgraded my hardware (motherboard and cpu)
And i noticed that after i set my video settings to DX11, i had a crash on mechlab.
Yes, in mechlab.
So i restarted the system and set a timer on, and found out that after around 7minutes of just browsing through mechs in mechlab i get a crash on black screen.
It is total freeze out, not even my keyboard responses to caps lock (caps lock light is not litting on or turning off).
Only option is to restart the whole computer through hard reset on start button.
Tried this couple of times to verify the problem, yup, it persists.
So i did what all little mechwarriors do, firstly remove user.cfg and even that did not bring the solution, so i ran the repair tool.
Surprise, no help there as well.
So i reinstalled the game.
Problem still persists, only this time i tried it with MSAA as well.
With MSAA it takes around 5minutes of fiddling around in mechlab to cause the black screen and non responsiveness.
with TXAA it takes around 7 minutes.
Noticed GPU fan going full speed after 1-2minutes of just sitting around in mechlab.
With DX9, no problems so far.
So the problem persists on DX11, and i did not even try and launch a battle because of that black screen.
And this is only MW:o related problem, no other software or game has caused this blackout.
not even Unigine Heaven with highest setting and MSi kombustor running on background at OpenGL mode.
System setup (with all latest drivers and windows updates)

Mem: 16gb of Kingston HyperX 1866mhz
HDD/SSD: Kingston HyperX 120gb @ Raid0
PSU: XFX 850w XXX series.
OS: Win7Pro 64bit +sp1

1st thing I would do is use the MWO Repair tool just to Make sure you don't have a Bad File.
http://mwomercs.com/...public-release/
Next Make Sure the AMD Drivers are not Forcing any of the Anti-Alaising setting
Catalyst Control Center
-Gaming
--3d Application Settings
---Anti-Aliasing Mode : "Use application settings"
---Anti-Aliasing Smaples : "Use application settings"
is what I found to be the Most compatable.

Yeah, DX11 mode causes instability on my system too, which isn't present on DX9 mode.
My instability occurs right after I initially log in, when the client is "connecting". It just rapidly flashes between the "Connecting" screen and my desktop for a minute or so before the client crashes. Sometimes I get a dialog box popup saying that Windows Explorer has stopped responding (which is odd because Windows Explorer isn't even running). Anyway, it's really screwy. I guess I'm the only one with this particular error because I haven't seen anyone else post about it.

I found a solution to the problem, but it might sound weird.
Go to your Internet Explorer (yes, IE) and go to settings and from the homepage press ''Use default'' or something. It has solved my problems with League of Legends always and it solved this as well. However, I have no idea why it helps.

OMG? WTF? This worked.
I opened IE and it said the page cannot be loaded in offline mode. Would I like to connect? I clicked connect. After the page loaded I made sure to set the "Use Default" thing just to follow the instructions (even thought it didn't make a change for me since my IE home page was already set to the default).
I think my issue was the weird offline mode. Not sure why IE was in an offline mode. I read this forum topic using Chrome so I know my internet was working in general.

You do know that you have windows explorer on by default, and i am not talking about internet explorer.?

Also: Wolf74, as i stated in my post, i did try the repair tool, and i even reinstalled the game.
Please read the whole post before commenting, thanks.
Actually, AMD settings were the only thing i did NOT check, but did it now, and they are all as you mentioned. everything is application controlled.
