neither one matters as I took a break of about 3 months to see if things would change up a little bit, only to return and find out that monkeys were put in charge of designing a new mechlab, double clicking an item to remove/add is no longer an option, and can we REALLY not see mech specs in store or am i just missing another idiots hidden button in there?! This game looked promising in beta but now its just a nerfed LoL wannabe that's an affront to the mechwarrior universe. Which has always been about freedom of choice, not pushing only one or two builds that can maximize your mech loadout. Sad.
Signed,
Adult MechWarrior.
Oh and I quit. Enjoy losing another team of spenders that realize you're always going to half-*** this game. What does this leave them with, 14% left of their base or something? These guys dont listen to the public.

Greetings all,
The engineers, artists, game masters, designers that work on 'Polish' are not/should not be the same people that are designing CW. (or they have way to small of a team for what need to be built)
Some of the tasks may overlap but the core work to 'clean up' items in the game, maps, Mech's require different skill sets.
- Quite a few issues and problems with 'polish' could be resolved by the PGI team having better 'tools' to diagnose and find areas of concern. (normally this requires a very skilled engineer that is fluent with the Engine and systems.)
Perhaps with this latest 'talent' hiring session that PGI went through they may be bringing in additional people to allow for both to be worked on.

CW first, by far. The game needs more polish, but its very much playable. This isn't some sort of crappy Kinect game for the Xbox, its a fully functional PC game with some balance issues , and while it is lacking a few features, ie destructible environments and collisions, the game suffers far significantly less than it does due to the lack of variety on gameplay.
A game with some balance issues with a lot of content is going to be more enjoyable than a well balanced game that has very little to offer after they've played for a few weeks/months.

"Without community warfare, house Steiner, Davion, Kurita, Liao, Marik and mercs get together randomly to fight house Steiner, Davion, Kurita, Liao, Marik and mercs. None of them know how they appear in these locations or why, and feel strangely compelled to shoot each other, die and do it all over again with no memory or recollection how they ended up in frozen city when they were in Terra therma a minute ago."
This is 99% the question every new player I have introduced to the game asked. They don't ask what heat is, why torso faces this or that way, you know stuff in the FAQ. They just want to know why they have to shoot.
