As a consumer and gamer looking at the Clan Packages, I am wondering if any word has been given by PGI in an effort to be more specific about the foggy details they had when they originally introduced the Clan Mech bundles. Specifically...

• Targeting Computer implementation... how will they work?
  
• Weapon statistics... rumour has it they will closely mimic Inner Sphere range/heat/damage?
  
• Variant availability [Some chassis have as many as four variants... which two do we get out of the A-B-C-D lineup when making a purchase?

They have early-bird bonuses and incentives to purchase early, but they still don't have those specifics listed or fleshed out yet? I know all this stuff should be listed here on their official page, but I cannot find it, and PGI has a track record of using Twitter for announcements. Can anyone fill in the knowledge gap here, preferably a PGI staffer or moderator? I am simply hesitant to buy without knowing the above points, and a few others I did not bother to list.

Waiting info on ER Medium Lasers and can i equip them in is mechs?

Pretty sure there is no IS > Clan or Clan > IS weapon swapping, Cookie. That was in the Clan write-up.

Last I heard was no mixed tech.

But, you can run clan mechs with IS mechs in the same team in pub matches

There are supposed to be IS er medium beams at some point down the line. Gonna be an expensive refit, as i dont think out of the nearly 40 mechs in my garage carry at least 2 medium lasers...lol

No cross tech i believe has been confirmed in podcasts

There is a lot more that we don't know about Clan stuffs than what we do know. Anybody who makes a purchase before we know almost everything about the items in question should be forewarned that you might not receive what you thought you were going to receive.

Thanks all, and FupDup for the answer on the details or lack thereof. I'm perfectly willing to wait it out, then, until such time as we have more solid information. Just for example, I am looking at the Summoner but want to know which of the four variants we will get with the bundle. This question, plus a few others, have kept my wallet closed.
