Lrms need a hard nerf, i suggest allowing ECM for every mech, and increasing the amount of ammo AMS gets by 50% like they did to all the other weapons

There is a new shiny. People are trying out the new shiny. Shiny will most likely eventually lose it's luster.
Replace "shiny" with <weapon>, <mech>, <buff>, <nerf>, <whatever>.

Now though, I got lights pestering me to shoot at their Tagged and NARC'd targets. Enemy lights actively looking for me, and team mates that actively curse me out for bringing LRMs. I kinda miss the old days.

If the angle of the missiles wasn't so steep and cover was more plentiful (alpine and caustic come to mind) perhaps there would be less QQ.

Fact - LRM's have a mimimun range of 180m.
Fact - If you are closer than 180 meters you will destroy LRM boats!

I disagree.
LRM's don't need a nerf.
AMS needs a buff!

I agree that LRMs don't need a nerf, but I don't think AMS needs more buff.
1. AMS range got buffed last patch--from 90 meters to 120 meters.
2. AMS range module can add another 8 meters--which means max 128 meter range for AMS. That's around 40% range increase from before. And that's on par with 40% flight speed increase of LRMs, so it cancels out the LRM buff.
People should equip AMS module if they are too scared of LRMs. After all, LRM boats also need to equip modules to be viable.

Well if they played by those rules there would be very few threads on these forums. Same thing w/the anti jump snipe crowd, they spammed the boards with their incessant whining as well. Soooo...yeah.
As far as missiles go...they are not a problem/or OP, however I do think the speed could be throttled back a bit of which will be implemented next patch, so not sure why all are still crying repetitively on the issue.
The whining on these forums is overwhelming, but that is PGI's fault as they have in the past caved in to the whiners (more than once), thus enabling the whiney crowd.

Maybe if the mods did their job properly it wouldn't be a problem.
