Ok well screw this I just tried Titanfall for the first time and screw them I'm coming back here, I hate Titanfall so bad that this situation exponentially differentiates itself that doesn't even remotely compare, I am soo butthurt by all this my day is done, finish, aurevoir

MWO is not just about the tournaments, you can still find a lance of friends to drop with and have fun that way; winning competition isn't everything. 
Team victories are much more satisfactory in my opinion. 
Maybe I missed out on something but how is the scoring system 'biased'? You get points or you don't. Yes, there are quirks like damage counting and invisible terrain barriers (free game, lets remember that too) but I think saying it's biased is not quite accurate...
Perhaps you could explain what about it you feel is biased?

Also, if you really really really want to win without sync dropping, you could theoretically underperform in every single match when there is no tournament, so that you are super low ELO when the next one starts. Then take ARTY and Airstrikes and drop them on all the clustered noobs, then finish them off ftw.
It's diabolical.
Fortunately, I'm too lazy to try it.
