It will be available for MC and c-bills come December of this year.

Or on June 17 if you buy it ala carte or as part of a pack. ;)

According to the latest NGNG podcast this is incorrect. The plan atm is stated to be 2 chassis release per month.

We also don't know if they will release 2 lights > 2 meds and so on. They will probably mix it up a little. Eitherway all 8 clan mechs will be out by october at the latest with a few new IS mechs to boot.

I thought he said 2 chassis per month, 1 clan 1 IS. That's what I got out of it, not 2 clan per month.

He stepped in to correct Phil and specifically said two clan mechs a month. We might get a total of three if that's the case with the IS mechs.

If this is correct, they just lost my money. I'll wait another 3 / 4 months to get them for C-Bills. Waited 6 months, won't loose sleep about another few weeks.

I have no desire to support the company with my cash until they start to deliver on some of their promises (mainly CW), and now no incentive to get early access to Clan mechs just to 'grind'. Looks like CW and Warhawks will come out the same time so win win for me.

Well played PGI, well played indeed

Curious - are they going to release at least 1 of each weight class right away. (within a month or so) Otherwise, with the incoming 3/3/3/3 restrictions - they could run into issues setting up matches with clan.

(unless they just mix clan & IS teams - though I hope not)

god knows how long it'll take to grind out an omni mech though. If PGI goes by lore prices they cost at least twice as much as their nonomni counterpartsk. timberwolf going for around 25mil ish, thats sets u back 75mil for mastering one. Looking at it that way the clan pack might actually be quite a steal.

Clan and IS will be mixed in public matches. they will not be when faction play comes out, which will be a separate queue from public play

This will be true at least to some degree. PGI mentioned this when explaining why the clan packs cost more than the phoenix packs did - that they would cost proportionally more C-bills / MC.

Okay I see, that makes a lot of sense. To do some very loose calculations. Lowest package cost 20$ in phoenix pack, lowest for the clan costs about 30$. So for sake of simplicity lets just say a 2:3 ratio. Spider, also a 30 ton mech like kit fox costs 3mil in sarna. That would put Kit fox at about 4.5mil with the 2:3 proportion.

Lol maybe the lore omni prices going at about 5mil for kit fox is planned after all. Yikes I might not be able to afford being a clanner

I don't understand the pricing on Clan mechs if the equipment is inferior to their original equivalents.

Clan tech is not going to be inferior or even EQUAL. They never said that. Anywhere.

It's just going to be balanced so that doesn't break the game.

This isn't rocket surgery people.
